Quick answers
The questions that I get asked the most.
Start by creating a list of features you are looking for in a spreadsheet and going to look at vans in person. Tick off each of the features available for each van you look at, to make sure you don’t miss anything that’s important to you. Once you find a van you like, see if it’s available to hire, as this will give you some experience so you will feel more comfortable about what you want to buy, including any possible upgrade options.

The extras I wouldn’t live without include: a diesel heater, air-conditioning, sirocco fan, filter tap, SOG toilet system, solar upgrade including an inverter and extra solar panels, curtains between each space (cab & bathroom), washing machine, driver and passenger steps, bike rack.
You might also consider installing: a tow bar, outdoor shower, extra USB sockets, external gas connection, starlink.
